Labradorite is in the same family as Moonstone
and was discovered in 1770 on St. Paul Island in Labrador, Canada.
It is found in Canada, Ukraine, Australia, Mexico and the U.S
Labradorite’s basic color is gray, but
within the silvery gray, this amazing stone flashes interior
colors of blue, green, yellow, and/or pink known as "labradorescence."
Labradorite
is known as the Magic Stone.
