Weekly Theme:"Wire Writing" (May 4, 2005)

This is a theme that appealed to me, as an amateur graphologist and aspiring wire-writing artist. I intended to give it more attention and come up with something special, but its actually been so long since I made the namewriting pieces, I just couldn't build up the enthusiasm... UNTIL I had the idea of incorporating some new ideas I got from Connie Fox's class at the Jewelry Expo.

As you can see, I got into the writing part, but fell short of the time to complete this one. No feeling in my right hand fingers necessitated a string of doctor's appointments, sleepless nights, plus other RL appointments and several custom jewelry orders for Mother's Day ~ hmm are these sounding like excuses?

(I need to remember to get my mom something!)

But here is what there is of this week's project, testimony to my childlike love of L's and S's. I am hoping I will be able to coax my frightened and anguished muse out of hiding so she will help me finish this necklace... and perhaps she will have some lightning flashes of ideas that will transform these beads and wire into more than I can fathom?
