Weekly Theme:"Micro Mania" (July 20, 2005)

Suddenly, I have a lot of commission pieces, plus I need to make pendants to replace those ones I lost.

This piece is a gift and is due on Monday; the customer says he will buy up to 8 more in this style if he likes it! He wanted these 5 dichroic glass cabs, in this particular order, made into a necklace. I have been exploring ways to wrap these and join them to make them work.

Tonight, I have them temporarily threaded onto elongated rolo chain along with wire coils and spacers beads. The necklace will be crafted in this way so that the recipient will be able to remove all the pieces and wear each pendant separately if desired.

5 of a Kinda

7/24/05 ~ I decided to provide an alternative to the bright yellow centerpiece that my customer chose. I think this new centerpiece pulls the colors together better.
